Title: The Fate of Ten
Series: Lorien Legacies , #6
Author: Pittacus Lore
Published: September 1, 2015
|
The sixth book in the thrilling, action-packed, New York Times bestselling I Am Number Four series! For years the Garde have fought the Mogadorians in secret. Now all of that has changed. The invasion has begun. If the Garde can't find a way to stop the Mogs, humanity will suffer the same fate as the Lorien: annihilation.
There is still hope. When the Elders sent the Garde to Earth, they had a plan—one which the Garde are finally starting to understand. In the climax of The Revenge of Seven, a group of the Garde traveled to an ancient pyramid in Mexico known to their people as the Sanctuary. There they awoke a power that had been hidden within our planet for generations. Now this power can save the world . . . or destroy it. It will all depend on who wields it.
This book is a total page turner. The beginning has a crazy stuff going on up to the end. What I only noticed is how the author loved to kill some characters in every book. YES. You heard it. Someone will die in this book, it might broke your heart but, I don't killing this character will cause a huge impact on the group. Well, maybe for a specific
person but not on the overall story of this book. Still, just like the previous books, I mostly associate my feelings of how this book makes my blood in veins pumping with excitement and adrenaline. It was like watching X-men in a different kind of way. Incredible and such a bad-ass characters. Every chapter gets crazier and crazier. I actually don't know what to say.
So, In here we have three points of view: John, Six and Ella. There is no better way but to do this because of the overwhelming scenes that unfolds in every chapter. And I really commend Pitaccus for doing so. The readers will get a small glimpse of Adams past life with the Mogs. I actually adore him in some way. He was the very opposite of the what an antagonist should be. Marina, well I do not know what to think of her. I was actually trying to gauge my feelings for her if I actually hate her or not. There are some instances that I find her so weak. Ella. I really felt so sorry for what could happen to her in the conclusion of this book. But I really admire her courage to offer her own life for the good.
So now, I cannot wait for the next book. I just pray it has an epic conclusion just the way Pittacus had done it in every book of this series.

Title: Nine's Legacy
Series: The Lost Files, #2
Author: Pittacus Lore

Number Nine—when John frees him from his cell in the power of six, he's ferocious, reckless, and ready to fight back. But being held captive changes a person—even a Lorien. See what Nine was like before his capture, and read about his dramatic escape from his point of view.

I’m really having a great time reading this series. Well this book is particularly about Nine. The Book was just a short story that I really appreciate. There are no long introductions of what Nine’s life has been. It was well narrated in a simple but complete way on how they lived, what they did to survive and what they did keep hidden from Mogadorians.
After reading the POWER OF SIX (Legacy #2) I’ve been very intrigued in what happened to Nine that lead him to be captured. And who was his Cepan. When and what are the other legacy he have. So here is my character Summary for this book:
NINE a.k.a Stanley
Antigravity capability
Able to communicate with animals
Super Speed
Enhanced hearing like no other
Physical Skills: Well trained for combat by his Cepan
Name of Cepan: Sandor
A total Gadget Nerd and Inventor
I must say that at first, I thought he was a kind of guy who is egocentric, ghastly and a little bit crazy. But I guess I was wrong. One thing I loved about Nine’s character is his mysteriousness. He may act tough in the outside but deep inside he was really a good Person. Maybe he was just a little bit annoyed of being sentimental. And after what his been through, I was able to take glimpse why he acted ghastly at the POWER OF SIX (Legacy #2). It only took him to fall in love with a girl and suddenly all of the things they have done to keep hidden was falling in to pieces right before his eyes. I can truly say that every mans downfall begins with a woman. So sad. Anyway, I think his character will be my favorite among them. Although I’m not closing the door about the others. ^^, 5 Stars!
