It's all fun and parties until someone falls in love in this modern fairy tale from author Kate Evangelista.

Caleb desperately needs a fake girlfriend. Either he attends a series of parties for his father’s law firm with a pretty girl on his arm, or he gets shipped off to Yale to start a future he’s not ready for and isn’t sure he wants. And sadly, the last unattached girl in his social circle has just made the grievous mistake of falling in love with him. Fortunately, Didi, recently fired waitress and aspiring painter, is open to new experiences. As the summer ticks by in a whirl of lavish parties, there’s only one rule: They must not fall in love!
The first thing that caught my attention when I saw this in my local bookstore is how gorgeous and eye catching the cover is. So yes, like I said before, I am a sucker for books that have beautiful covers in it. Haha. I can't help it. It's the first thing why I pick a book. Anyway, the story is a bit common and predictable if you ask me. A Man-whore who doesn't want to fall in love resulting to a multiple relationships and breakups if ever the girlfriend starts to show love to the main character. A hired girlfriend for Summer. High and Elite guy falling in love with an average girl who is not even in his league. A stereotyped plot but it was actually an interesting read.

The characters are all refreshing and easy to fall in love with. Nathan and Natasha are the best part of this book but a little bit too good to be true but hey! I still love them and they are very charming. Didi and Caleb are equally a great character too. There is a bit twist on the personality of Didi but it didn't lessen any chances of this book and plot to be extraordinarily sweet and refreshing.

It is a quick read. Lots of cheesy dialogues and moments but it was all worth it. Definitely a Summer read type of book.
