An accident that should end in tragedy instead gives seventeen-year-old Jamie Baker a slew of uncontrollable superhuman abilities. To keep her secret safe Jamie socially exiles herself, earning the title of Rocklin High's resident ice queen. But during a supercharged encounter with star quarterback Ryan Miller she literally kisses anonymity goodbye. Now the annoyingly irresistible Ryan will stop at nothing to melt the heart of the ice queen and find out what makes her so special. Unfortunately, Ryan is not the only person on to her secret. Will Jamie learn to contain her unstable powers before being discovered by the media or turned into a government lab rat? More importantly, can she throw Ryan Miller off her trail before falling in love with him?

“Most superhero stories start with a meteor shower or a nasty insect bite, but mine actually starts with a kiss. Whether it was a kiss of life or a kiss of death I still haven’t decided, but it was, surprisingly, a really good kiss. Not that I’d ever tell him that.”

This book is amazingly good!!! I enjoyed every minute of reading this, and maybe that explains how I finished it in short span of time. But no kidding though I was really fascinated on how the story flowed.

I was used to reading a superhero kind of book. And this was the first that a woman was actually the ones who have the power. It was mostly guys right? Hahhaha. Anyway, the story was lot to take in, I was glad I was able to find an ebook copy for this. So i think i was really lucky enough! Jeez. I can't stop blubbing! Hahahah!

Anyway, When I started reading this, I was really puzzled about the "ice-queen"herself. I mean come on! Spill it out! How did it happen? An accidental superpowers? I wasn't able to get a grip with it so I read it, and read it, not realizing I was almost done with it. So yes! That is how good really this book is. ^^,

For the character. I loved Jamie. In fact I fell in love with her the moment I started reading this. I pity her for what she had gone through. But I also envy her for the courage she got to stand up to others. And be what she wanted to be. As for Ryan, oh well what can I say, he was really a charmer. And I can never blame why Jamie, the ice-queen, fell in love with the the moment she kissed him.

Hahhaha! Anyway, this is definitely a good book. Can't wait for the next sequel!!!!
